Finances in the negative and you can't get out? Or maybe you just want to start over? We have a couple options you can use to help you out.
If your ranch is in the negatives or very low on cash, you can take out a loan of 10k, 50k, or 100k game money to help yourself get out of debt. This can be useful to give yourself some cash to pay for show entry fees, so that your horses can start earning money. Keep in mind though, you will have to pay the loan back + 5%! The game will automatically repay the loan for you, so long as you have the funds to, and it will come out slowly, over a 10, 20 or 30 game year period, respectively.
To take out a loan, go to your Ranch page and scroll all the way down. There you will see the ‘Loans’ section, and can select a loan amount to take. Once selected, the terms of the loan will appear. To agree to the loan, click ‘Submit’.
If you are so far in debt that a loan can't help though, or maybe you just want to start over for other reasons, you can choose to reset your ranch. Be warned though! While resetting your ranch erases any debt and sets your finances back to 250k, all of your horses will be rehomed, and you will not receive new import credits. Any unused import credits on your account will remain though, so you can use those after you reset, and you will still receive 3 free credits every 120 real days.
To reset a ranch, go to your account page, and scroll down until you see ‘Ranch Management’. To reset a ranch, simply click ‘Reset’.
Keep in mind though, you can only reset a ranch once every 6 real months!
One other thing, it is against the game rules to sell your horses to another player before resetting your ranch, and then buy them back after. The intent of a reset is to completely start over, and doing this is considered cheating. Players caught doing so will have their horses rehomed, and may be banned from the game.
